Okay - I'm not as technically "in the know" as I used to be, but I appreciate tablets are a convenient way to surf the net, watch videos, listen to music - basically everything you would do with a PC without the painfully long boot up times and annoying hum as the fan builds up dust. Plus the wires.
Why did I choose the BB playbook? I did my research. I also bought my GF a Samsung galaxy 2 - and I have to admit its very good. But the BB does the same thing at a fraction of the cost.
The biggest negative about the BB playbook is the apparent "lack" of apps. Hot UK Deals posted the BB Playbook bargain price through PC Word Business, and within the posts were several helpful hints on how to counteract this. There is a very good website called http://apps.goodereader.com/category/playbook/
and this allows you to install the Android apps onto your playbook.
I followed the instructions and I too have all my apps on the Playbook. Battery life seems to be infinite, screen resolution is fantastic and the operating system very simple to use.
Overall a brilliant tablet that is used daily, my poor laptop hardly ever gets switched on anymore, and quite frankly I dont know what I did without it!
