In order for your office to work to its maximum potential, our affordable experts can deliver and fully install large box items.
We can also remove and recycle your old appliances at the same time.
After all, this is meant to be a tool that works for you, not something you have to fight against. We'll talk through your needs and we have services available to set up everything from printers to your computer network.
We have a UK based team of experts available to provide support at a moment's notice. It doesn't matter how late you're working – the line is open 24/7, every single day of the year.
For vital file management, we provide a full data transfer service and can wipe information from hard drives you no longer want for total security. Should you ever lose data, our state-of-the-art laboratory can recover files even from faulty or damaged equipment.
This can be invaluable, saving countless man-hours of work.
These are designed to cause the minimum of disruption to you and your clients should anything happen to your systems or equipment.
We can fix the majority of computer problems over the phone using our "remote fix" solution where we share control of your system to diagnose and repair the fault.
For other issues we can fix items in store or at our cutting-edge repair centre.
We recognise all businesses are unique entities and have different setups and requirements. This is why we offer a completely bespoke IT Support service, tailored to the specific needs of your workplace. With a huge range of options and solutions we can give the stability that delivers a faster, more efficient network for you and your business. Your network will receive continuous 24-hour monitoring and management to optimise performance. This allows us to identify and fix issues before they arise, reducing business performance risks.
Or speak with your local Business Adviser in store
Should an issue arise, we are able to resolve 95% of problems within an hour and without the need for us to visit your location. Further to that, 30% of issues are fixed in just five minutes. This dramatically reduces downtime, wasted hours and provides enhanced reliability that increases your potential revenue.
Our UK-based support centre is manned 24/7,

every day of the year, so no matter how late you are working we always have an expert ready to assist. Utilising our innovative "remote fix" solution, we are able to share control of your system to diagnose and repair the issue. There's no limit to the number of calls you make to this line, and it covers your whole workforce. Full firewall management, comprehensive spam filtering and pro-active virus protection allows for extra peace of mind – you're safe in the knowledge that your network is fully protected against all threats and you'll be informed of any issues straight away.
Our technical experts can give unbiased advice on your hardware and software needs, as well as providing full hardware maintenance and free on-site engineering for the small percentage of issues that can't be fixed over the phone.
With limited IT budgets and few dedicated specialists, businesses frequently allocate responsibility for IT support and maintenance to someone who already has a full-time role. These IT "generalists" can lack the skills, resources and time to manage complex systems effectively, leaving the business vulnerable to problems stemming from poor network performance.
By utilising our Remote IT Management services, you gain a dedicated team of network specialists and qualified engineers who can deal with your issues immediately, but without the expense and headcount budget of employing a full-time member of staff. The service acts as a virtual IT Manager that never sleeps and never takes a holiday.
Whether it's a minor mishap or a major breakdown we can fix or replace your product fast and have a range of premier options to suit even the most demanding workload. For example, with our Whatever Happens Premier computer service, we'll issue you with a replacement laptop while your system is examined at our state-of-the-art repair laboratory. If we can't repair the computer within seven days, we'll replace it.
Our standard service is similar, but we don't offer a replacement laptop while your computer is being repaired, and promise to repair within 21 days before issuing a replacement.
Whether you choose the standard or premier service, there is no charge for parts or labour – we cover the cost ourselves and, unlike some other cover plans, we won't charge you if we don't find a fault. Should your system be consistently problematic you can request a replacement after replacement after three repairs.
One of the key points about Whatever Happens is you are covered no matter where in the world you are and even if your equipment breaks down through a mishap.
This is ideal for business travellers and laptop users. Additionally, you receive full access to our UK-based technical support experts who can diagnose and repair many computer faults using our online "remote fix" technology.
Using this, they share control of your system to locate the fault and are able to resolve 95% of issues without the need for the product to be returned.
This service is available for many types of technology. We can provide support for common business devices such as tablets, printers, personal organisers and cameras. Additionally, if the item costs less than £151 we offer a special Instant Replacement service. With this cover, we'll give you a new product on the spot if your device breaks down.
These cover plans are designed to keep your technology working, so you and your staff experience the minimum disruption and maintain a high volume of work.
Our goal is to make the entire repair experience, from the moment you inform us of the fault to the second you receive your product back, smooth, easy and fast – whatever happens.
Recreating the files from scratch could take countless man hours and cost an unimaginable amount of effort and money. Many backup solutions are physical and located within the workplace. However, while the backups will always be on hand, this carries additional risk. Should anything happen to the main server, such as fire, theft or flood, it is likely the backups will also be affected.
Offsite backups provide an extra level of security and more businesses these days are seeing the value and security online "cloud" storage offers.
Our Cloud services provide military-grade encryption security at an offsite location. With a simple-to-use interface, this allows for automatic backup of your business data. Each user can back up multiple computers, with synchronisation happening in the background as you work so there's no performance or productivity hit.
The business administration interface is simple to use, putting you in full control of what each user can view and the level of access they have to files.
You can specify each folder or files to be uploaded with a click of the mouse and adjust your library with ease. Uploads appear in the archive in real time, giving you additional peace of mind.
We provide a number of options to provide the perfect cloud storage solution for you. With up to 10TB of space for as many as five users, this is ideal for the small businesses.
With the Backup and Share option, users are able to place files in an online briefcase, making them instantly available to colleagues across the world. Using our free app, users can log on and access data on tablets and smartphones, or logon to the online portal with a computer and use a dedicated suite of packages to view, edit and amend content as required.
This feature is especially useful, allowing you to upload documents or presentations and having full access on any computer in the world by logging onto the secure portal or app.
There's no need to transport memory cards or discs as everything you need will be stored online. For example, should you be showing a client a presentation and they request additional information, you're no longer limited to the data you brought with you. Simply add to your deck by pulling additional information from the cloud. This way you're always prepared, informed and ready to impress.
With our cloud services we take you beyond just backup and storage. This is a solution designed to enhance the way you work, to protect the work you've done and increase the possibilities for collaboration.
Recycling electrical and electronic products
In July 2007 regulations were introduced to reduce the amount of untreated waste electrical and electronic equipment going to landfill, and to ensure as much equipment as possible is collected and then dealt with in an environmentally sound manner.
Why should electrical goods be recycled?
Recycling electrical products is better for the environment. Lead and other toxins contained in electrical goods can cause soil and water contamination.
This can have a very harmful effect on the natural habitat, wildlife and also human health. When situated near populated areas these toxins can cause problems to communities as their water and soil is polluted. Many electrical items can be repaired, reused or recycled.
Recycling items helps to save natural resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.
How will I know whether the new products I buy can be recycled?
All new electrical and electronic equipment we sell can be recycled and will carry the ‘crossed out wheeled bin’ symbol. We will happily receive all old electrical and electronic equipment and recycle it to the best of our ability, even if your old product does not carry the ‘crossed out wheeled bin’ symbol. You do not need to have purchased new equipment to be able to recycle your old item.
How can my business recycle?
We offer a full range of recycling and disposal services. Our recycling partners are ISO14001 certified which ensures that your old equipment is dealt with in an environmentally sound manner.
You can bring used electrical and electronic items or batteries to your local PC World Business Centre for free recycling
PLEASE NOTE: If you are bringing a product to one of our stores that holds personal data (e.g. PC, Laptop, Mobile Phone, etc) you will need to have removed the information from your old product prior to us receiving it as we will not carry out any data removal.
We are unable to accept industrial or automotive batteries. For information on how to recycle these types of battery please contact your supplier or local authority.
We can collect products from your premises. As well as collecting your old equipment we can ensure individual and corporate peace of mind with our 100% secure data eradication solutions, which can be offered on or off site.
This fully certified service ensures compliance with FISMA, HIPAA, SOX, FACT ACT and GLBA, and we can even destroy physical hard drives guaranteeing they will no longer be used.
The metals in them are then granulated and recycled. This service can also be used for other storage media such as discs and USB devices.
“Caged” delivery where we remove the products from their packaging before they arrive at your premises, while we process all the waste externally.
Whatever your business requires, we can work together to provide the best solution for your IT Hardware, giving you security, fulfilling legislation and letting your workplace help in protecting the environment.
